Christmas Time

There are two main films which always remind me of christmas.

The Snowman

It's just so white and snowy and sweet. Plus, I used to cry at it when I watched it when I was smaller. Yes, cry. I was one of those kids who tried to persuade my mum to keep the snowman in the freezer so it could last forever. The Snowman has become somewhat iconic after the famous iron-bru adverts, especially in Scotland. Now I cant watch the film without thinking of the new lyrics.. 'he dropped my iron-bru and let go of my hand!'.

Wallace and Gromit

This is basically my dads favorite thing ever, but I guess Wallace is basically my dad! It's not particularly christmassy, but The Wrong Trousers is definately one of those films which tends to appear on the television on Christmas day. I have been telling everybody this year just how excited I am about watching Wallace and Gromit at christmas time... so it better be on!
